This holiday season is going to be different even from last year. We are still experiencing difficulties in the supply chain as well as labor issues and shortages in raw materials. Plus a higher demand of parts and components as there is still a shortage of stock items, with longer shipping and delivery times.

That was the bad news.

Now the good news is that we at Custom Fly Rod Crafters are working to minimize price increases and provide competitive pricing by absorbing most of the supply chain costs that we have received, including shipping cost increases and cost increases from our suppliers.

What can you do to get your orders on time? Shop early. It’s that simple. We try our best to ship as soon as possible but we cannot control delivery issues once your orders leave our shop. We recommend putting your orders in as soon as possible so that you can get the things you want before the holiday rush. Here are the posted deadlines from UPS and USPS for holiday delivery:

UPS Deadlines:

• Ground: Check the UPS website for a quote
• 3-Day Select: Dec 21
• 2nd Day Air: Dec 22
• Next Day Air: Dec 23

USPS Deadlines:

• Retail Ground: Dec 15
• First Class Mail: Dec 17
• Priority Mail: Dec 18
• Priority Mail Express: Dec 23

And remember that the postal service and other shipping services will not guarantee deliveries on time during the holiday season.
